We know we should back-up our files regularly. But, what a pain!
The questions of "how many CD's do I need? do I have to stand around and change the CD's?" and other practical questions too often result in us backing up only once or twice. Then the process becomes too difficult and we give up today and promise to do the back-up tomorrow.
 Of course, we break out in another cold sweat when the computer doesn't boot or we get an error about data corruption.
